If you have lost one of two vehicle registration number plates, you have to:

• to approach "Regitra" for the issue of a new vehicle registration number plate (duplicate);
• you must bring with yourself the Personal Identity Card or passport;
• you must bring with yourself vehicle registration certificate (if not lost);
• you must bring with yourself the vehicle registration number license plate that is still available (has not been lost).

NOTE 1. A duplicate can be issued only once.

NOTE 2. If the vehicle registration number license plates are not in compliance with the currently valid standard, then the vehicle registration number license plate that is still available (has not been lost) also will be changed.

If you have lost both vehicle registration number license plates, you will have to re-register the car and obtain new license plates. This can be done upon arrival to the subdivision of "Regitra" that is most convenient for you.

If you suspect that the vehicle registration number license plates could be stolen, we advise you to additionally contact police and inform on theft.
