Order personalized license plates

A personalized license plate is a registration number combination created according to an individual’s preference. For cars, it can consist of 1 to 6 characters, at least one of which must be a number.

You can order personalized license plates:

• Online (service – “I want to reserve license plates”)

• At a “Regitra” branch

Book your appointment at the branch in advance and you will be served at a time that is convenient for you.

IMPORTANT. Your application for personalized license plates will be reviewed within 3 business days.

After ordering personalized license plates, the next step is to assign them to your vehicle. If you are only planning to purchase a car, you can also order personalized license plates in advance. “Regitra” will store them free of charge for 1 year.

You can assign the license plates to your vehicle:

• Online

If you have purchased a vehicle registered in Lithuania, you will need to register it in your name and assign the personalized license plates you have ordered.

• If you already have a vehicle registered in your name, you will only need to replace the license plates and obtain a new registration certificate.

• At a “Regitra” branch

You can also visit the “Regitra” branch where you chose to store your license plates, and a member of staff will help you complete all the procedures mentioned above.

The registration certificate and personalized license plates assigned to your vehicle can be delivered in the following ways:

• Home delivery

When ordering the registration certificate, indicate that you would like it delivered to your home.
The home delivery fee is EUR 6.99.

• Delivery to a parcel locker of your choice

When ordering the registration certificate, indicate that you would like it delivered to a parcel locker.
The delivery fee to a parcel locker is EUR 4.90.

3. Collect the registration certificate at a “Regitra” branch

Before visiting “Regitra”, you can check whether your registration certificate is ready.
