State Enterprise Regitra offers driving license delivery service to all drivers

State Enterprise Regitra launches a service of driving license delivery to all interested drivers with effect from 8 November 2010. Earlier this service was mainly enjoyed by beginning drivers ordering driving license valid for 10 years on Drivers’ Portal.
“Taking into consideration customers requests and trying to provide drivers with more services for their convenience, we have made it available for all drivers to obtain a driving licence faster and more conveniently. From now on, all drivers may order the delivery of driving licences at driving license issuing units of Regitra. In addition, this service remained available on Drivers’ Portal”, said Mr. Saulius Šuminas, Deputy Director General of Regitra.
Driving license issuing units of Regitra are opened in all regional centres, Biržai, Rokiškis, Mažeikiai, Jonava, Jurbarkas and Kėdainiai.
A new driving license shall be delivered to the address indicated by a customer within 3 working days on the average (by AB Lietuvos Paštas (Lithuanian Post) officers). Price of delivery – 15 litas. Driving licenses are delivered within the territory of Lithuania only and handed personally to the holders of driving licenses.
The service of driving license delivery has been offered by Regitra on Drivers’ Portal since 1 July 2010.
Within 3 quarters this year (from 1 January till 1 October), 111.8 thousand driving licenses were issued by Regitra.
