State Enterprise Regitra informs about changes in its services related to transition to the euro

Lithuania will usher in 2015 by saying goodbye to its national currency and adopting the euro. State Enterprise Regitra informs about changes in its services related to this event.

Due to the changeover to the euro on the last day of 2014 (December 31) Regitra’s online services will be closed from 12 p. m. If companies trading in vehicles do not want to face problems in obtaining temporary registration certificates in time, they are advised to submit the required data to Regitra’s information system in advance. Regitra’s other information systems and customer service centres may stop functioning properly as well.

On January 2-3, Regitra is expected to provide services to customers as usual. However, there could be some disruption as Regitra receives some of the data from external registers which have already informed about the possible disruption of their electronic services.

Regitra urges its customers to pay for ordered electronic services before 12 p. m. of December 31. If they fail to do so before this time, they will have to resubmit their order after January 1, 2015.

To avoid any problems, the private and business customers of Regitra should apply for Regitra services until December 31, 2014 or from January 4, 2015. We apologizes for inconvenience.
