Data delivery system of the Register of Road Vehicles

The data delivery system of the Register of Road Vehicles of the Republic of Lithuania (“the Register”) has been designed for the automatic delivery of Register’s data on road vehicles and their registered owners. The data delivery system is not intended for the provision of statistical data.
Data from the Register shall be delivered to persons who have concluded Register’s data provision contracts with State Enterprise Regitra stipulating the purpose, conditions and procedure of using the Register’s data. Natural persons’ data managed within the Register shall be provided in compliance with the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Legal Protection of Personal Data. Automatic delivery of data on motor vehicles owned by natural persons (including their personal data) shall be available to persons identified within the State Personal Data Controllers’ Register, managed by the State Data Protection Inspectorate, except for persons to whom the exceptions laid down in Article 31 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Legal Protection of Personal Data apply.
